My Story
Hello, I’m Eleni Apostolou, founder of SOS: Sleep & Behaviour Consultancy and someone who knows both professionally and personally just how powerful the right support can be for a family.
I’ve spent over 13 years as a qualified primary school teacher working closely with children aged 5 to 11. Working within the leadership team, I specialised in behavioural support, leading whole-school strategies to help children manage and overcome emotional, social and learning barriers. I’ve worked with children with SEN, ADHD, Autism, EAL and a wide range of complex behavioural and medical needs and I’ve always believed in compassionate, consistent support that meets each child exactly where they are.
After countless sleepless nights with my first baby and feeling completely overwhelmed, I began researching sleep training approaches and eventually worked with a few different sleep practitioners. With their support, I successfully sleep trained both of my daughters. The difference was life-changing. I felt like myself again and soon I was helping friends and family with their little ones’ sleep too.
That’s what led me here.
I decided to train with the London School of Childcare Studies, earning a Level 6 qualification as a Sleep Practitioner. Today I bring together my experience in education, behaviour and motherhood to offer the kind of personalised, expert-led, emotionally attuned support I wish I’d had from the start.
